Rose City Park PTO
Welcome to your Rose City Park Parent Teacher Organization.
Our mission is to support the learning experience of all students at Rose City Park Elementary in alignment with our values of inclusiveness, anti-bias, and anti-racist education and enrichment. We aim to promote and encourage communication between parents and guardians, teachers, administration and community members to foster equitable representation and collective action.
In order to best meet those goals, the current PTO board, with the pushing of previous board members and current members are working on restructuring the PTO in order to find a way to best meet the needs of our community. We have been engaging in this work since September and hope to release our new structure before the school year ends. The current model of our PTO has failed to create a diverse volunteer body, and we hope our changes will create a structure that best represents our students, teachers and community.
Our work lies in community building, volunteering, holding meetings and events, supporting educational and enrichment programs and fundraising to meet the needs of the community.
